I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and came to lactation after having worked for more than 10 years in the world of Social Work. As a social worker, I gained a deep understanding of how there is no one solution that works for everyone. When I embarked on the journey to becoming a lactation consultant, I sought out Attie Sandink in Burlington to be my mentor as she is widely known across Western Ontario as having an up-to-date, evidence based, and holistic approach to infant feeding. Since completing my training, I have been guiding families in my own private practice in the GTA. 

 

I have two children and breastfeeding was a big part of those early years for me. Breastfeeding can be a wonderful journey, but it can be extremely challenging when it doesn’t go as expected. Using evidence based practice, I will help guide you through this season of life by developing a plan that meets your unique needs, circumstances, and goals - whether you are exclusively breastfeeding, exclusively pumping, or anything in between.
